CREATE Foundation is the peak body representing the voices of all children and young people in out-of-home care, and advocates for change to improve the care system and life outcomes for kids.
CREATE seeks to connect and empower children and young people and change the care system through activities, programs, training, research and policy advice.
CREATE Foundation, formerly known as the Australian Association of Young People in Care (AYPIC) was founded in 1993 by Jan Owen. Since then it has evolved from a small volunteer driven organisation to a national organisation with an office in each State and Territory of Australia.
CREATE Foundation is the peak body representing the voices of all children and young people in out-of-home care.
