Murilla Community Centre

The Murilla Community Centre in Miles provides offices & facilities for many services including:

  • Murilla Family Day Care - provides safe, secure, stimulating quality care for children up to 12 years of age in the homes of Family Day Care Carers who are organised and supported by a professional coordinator.
  • Murilla Long Day Care Centre - caters for children aged from birth to 5 years. The Centre focuses on the “fun” side of learning with an emphasis on bright, colourful surroundings which are also planned to safeguard the health and safety of your children.
  • Murilla Outside School Hours / Vacation Care - offers a range of activities, in a safe and convenient location, for primary school children before and after school, on pupil free days and during school holidays.
  • The Den: Youth Group – a meeting place for 13 – 25 yr olds with structured supervision, assistance with homework and somewhere to chat.
  • Murilla Respite Service - provides care for frail elderly people and younger people with disabilities and their carers, to enable the person who normally cares for them to have some relief from these duties. This service provides respite care both in the client’s home and centre based respite day care.

Murrilla Community Centre also hosts many visiting services, including an optometrist, Rural Allied Health Team, Darling Downs Hearing Care, a dietician and the Toowoomba Advocacy & Support Centre.
