Child Protection Partnership Forum
The Child Protection Partnership Forum is made up of Queensland community and government agencies working together in child protection. It was established in 2004.
Forum members have a shared purpose of improving outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and families.
The Forum's vision and scope is currently being reviewed.
Membership
Membership of the Forum consists of peak child protection bodies, Department of Communities (Child Safety, Youth and Families), Child Safety representatives from key government organisations and an academic representative - working together to achieve a shared purpose around child protection.
Workgroups
Consistent with its focus on the broader child protection system, the Forum has several workgroups:
- Family Supports Workgroup
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Placement Workgroup
- GForce
The Child Protection Workforce Action Group (CPWAG) also reports to the Forum.
