Proposed amendments to the Family Law Act to strengthen Child Protection

The Exposure Draft Family Law Amendment (Family Violence) Bill 2010 focuses on prioritising the safety of children whose rights and interests are considered under the Family Law Act 1975.

National Framework for Protecting Australias Children 2009-2020.

The Australian Government released draft national standards for out-of-home care. The 14-draft standards were developed following a national consultation as part of the implementation of the National Framework for Protecting Australias Children 2009-2020.
