Training

PeakCare is committed to a training model which emphasises the acquisition of core qualifications, the need for quality supervision, ongoing mentoring and a commitment to lifelong learning.

In considering education, professional development and training, PeakCare's key question is what qualifications will provide the best services and supports to the most vulnerable children and their families.

PeakCare participates in a number of national and statewide forums and working groups, such as the Child Protection Workforce Action Group (CPWAGS), and Child Protection Partnership Forum.

We also look to provide opportunities for professional development in our sector.

PeakCare's Professional Practice Blog

In November of 2010, Peakcare introduced a Professional Practice Blog. As part of a professional development strategy, we acknowledge the time constraints many practitioners are under. Therefore we endeavour to present topical, engaging and critically reflective posts that can be read at your leisure.
